Link Previous Exports to New Ones to Speed Up Export Time

Is there a way that Adobe could link previous exports to new ones? When rendering out long sequences, if an update needs to be made to a small section of your video, and you have to re-export, being able to select just the in and out points of where you made the update and exporting out only that section to the previous file would save so much rendering time.

I know for workaround I can import my export and put it on top of original edit and fudge things, but there would be very slight quality loss. Being able to link exports and merge certain time codes would be a game changer.
