Hello,

Does anyone know how many watchfolders can Adobe Media Encoder monitor?

In my current workflow (using a different software) I have about 360 different watchfolders/different transcoding workflows.

There is no limit to the number of Watch-folders that you can create & Adobe Media Encoder can monitor.

are there any resource limitations? software limitations?

we will be using the software on one machine with dual xeon CPUs (50MB cache) / 2x nVidia Tesla / 32 GB of ram / 4x SAS HDDs

like I said, I have about 360 watchfolders (and growing) with different transcoding workflows/profiles/deploys/etc

it will be a big step for me to change the entire workflow..
