Why was this app expired? I go to use it on my iMac running 10.10.5 and the app was expired.

I uninstall it, only to find that it's gone from the Cloud. WTF is going on with Adobe!? My[profanity removed by moderator]works fine. Stop breaking it!

Adobe changed theirs policy about earlier versions of Adobe apps (august 219) and now you can have and use only two newest major releases. So when Adobe released Adobe CC2020 last week - your Encoder 2017 become third olders and was locked. More on that decision here: https://theblog.adobe.com/changes-to-creative-cloud-download-availability
