Hey All,

Currently trying to render out some stuff from adobe after effects via media encoder. It was okay until it updated recently and now experiencing problems with it. It just hangs in media encoder at a few minutes. Ive left it overnight and tried several times to re render but facing the same issue with the same file and different files too! It stops at random points and then just hangs.

Running M1 Macbook Pro

Hi AMARJIT0101,

Welcome to the community and sorry for your issue.

Are you using any third-party plug-ins in the After Effects project?

Try running Media Encoder with Rosetta (right-click the Media Encoder icon > select Get Info > check “Open using Rosetta”).

Let us know if it works.

Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Nishu
