Media Encoder is taking forever to read or connect with Dynamic Link and XMP

Hi, really need some help here. I spent about 4 hours trying to figure this out. Tried all the solutions I saw posted including turing of the "Import sequences Nativley" making sure there is enough free space, clearing cache, reinstalling, restarting and none of it worked.

No matter what I do my comp when sent to Media Encoder from After Effects (via Add to Adobe Media Enocder Queue) are getting stuck for minutes when I try to access the settings window or when they start to render. For a 15 sec video I'm seeing delays of about 4 minutes.  I know these times are accurate as the screen shots have time stamps.

I uninstalled AE 22.5 and tried to roll back to 22.3 (I swear that used to work) along with removing ME 22.5 and installing both ME 22.0 and 22.3, but I had no luck. I then allowed AE and to update to the latest 22.5 and tried it with ME 22.0 even not keeping the prefernces, but again nothing. Not matter what I do it will take about 4 minutes just to open the preset or render settings window.

When I first click it displays - "Connecting to Dynamic Link server", then 1 mintue later it says "Reading XMP..." - this will be stuck until it finally brings up the preset/settings window. I can click on the file name fine. It opens instantly. I never remember it being this laggy and I exported to ME from AE 21 to Mp4's just fine.

The render itself will also take about 4 minutes to get started as well. During the whole delay it will say "Reading XMP..." then once it starts it moves along decently but freezes at the very end for about a minute.  This is a simple video made with images, text, some native motion blur and a few expressions. I know its not intense or time consuming to render since the AE Render Queue will render it to a ProRes 422 .mov in under a minute with no freeze. I can also then convert that mov in ME to an MP4 in about a minute as well. What is going on here? If AE could render MP4 in its render queue I wouldn't even bother with ME. I've been doing this for years and I've never seen something like this before. Please help this is a major bottle neck in a production workflow. Thank you!

Bumping this up. Can anyone at Adobe weigh in? Tried this again just now. I removed all the expressions and now its just simple keyframes but its still taking forever to send to media encoder (2 min) as well as check the compressions settings (1-2 minutes) and start and finish the render (5-6 minutes). M.E. can be slow but it never used to take this long!

Again the After Effects render queue knocks it out in 32 seconds and the whole comp is now only 7 secs long. When Media encoder finally starts the render its claiming 35 seconds minus all the delays of 2-3 minutes to actually start. Its super frustrating to wait on this for so long. Thanks!
