Media Encoder leaving empty 0KB M4V files behind

Not sure if anyone else is getting this but the last few versions, Media Encoder has started leaving behind empty (0KB) M4V files in the encoding folder alongside the final MP4 files. While this doesn't affect the encoding process, it does mean I'm having to clear them out every now and then, which is a pain. This didn't happen until recently. Is there something I need to tickbox, or is this a bug?

On Mac I've seen this issue on and off - files left over after encoding has completed. Not sure - but it seems (in my case) to be only happen when rendering to a non-local location (across a network). Other than that, sorry can't help.
