Hello everyone!
I'm trying to render a video from After Effects that has a video linked to a file from Premiere Pro. I'm worried that the latest update to Media Encoder (22.5) is no longer compatible with my Mac Studio I left a video to render overnight when it said it would be ready in 8 hours. I come back this morning and it said that it would now take 11 1/2 hours! I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, allocating the RAM, cutting down on graphics on After Effects, and the results are the same. Here are the specs:
macOS Monterey
Version 12.5
Mac Studio (2022)
Chip: Apple M1 Ultra
Memory: 64GB
Toal Number of Cores: 20 (16 performance and 4 efficiency)

I'm having the same problem. It is also happening while rendering directly in After Effects and I never had this problem in the early versions.

Refer to this support document:
Unable to Export After Effects Composition using Adobe Media Encoder
Issue
When you add an After Effects composition created with After Effects to Adobe Media Encoder, rendering could get stuck at three seconds. It could also take around eight hours or more to render.
