Help! I'm completely at a loss here and I'm in the middle of an aggressive international delivery schedule.
I've been tasked with taking 29.97 animation (don't ask my why it's 29.97, it should be 23.98) and turning it into 25fps footage without altering the run time.
Naturally, this means that 1 in 5 frames will be erased. I expect that any halfway decent QC analysis by broadcasters and larger platforms will catch it and flag for QC Fail.
So, is there a way to transcode 2997 to 25 without changing run time AND without introducing stutter or frame blending artifacts? AND, without changing the speed or pitch of the audio?
I've heard Twixtor might be able to do this? Is that right? Or perhaps, Alchemy File? Or are they asking for the impossible here? I'm leaning towards this being impossible.
