The subject line kinda sasy it all: I'm trying to encode a Prores4444 720x480 Quicktime from 24 fps to 23.976 fps in Adobe Media Encoder 2019 (13.1.5) for an m2v for DVD but getting dropped frames on playback. The dropped frames seem to happen (noticeably) at the same three places, no matter whether it's a VBR or CBR encode and whatever settings. In all other respects I'm happy with the quality but I can't get past this issue. It's so weird. I've even sucked the Quicktime source into Premiere Pro and exported from there without a problem. I'm attaching my encode settings for reference.
What am I doing wrong? Or what can I do to fix this?
Thanks.
