I have video file with 16 channel audio and i used media encoder to decrase them to 2 channel audio.

  • I'd like to know how media encoder works to decrease the 16 channel audio to 2 channel audio...
Is media encoder gives me the first 2 audio channels and delete the channels from 3 to 16??!!
Or Is media ender make sum for ch 1,5,9,13 and put them on channel 1
,, sum for ch 2,6,10,14 and put them on channel 2.
    Regards,,

Unfortunately Media Encode is not well equipped to decrease or remap audio channels. It will just give you 1 and 2 and remove all in 3 to 16.
