Using Media encoder for dvd encoding on projects with closed captions

Hi,

I really like media encoder for DVD encoding, but I haven't been able to use it on projects with closed captions yet.

As when I import a media encoder encode into Sonic Scenarist authoring software the import .scc file option is dimmed out.

It's like media encoder strip away or masks line21 in the video. I've tried setiing up in premiere and laying the .scc file on top

of the video track but the best I have been able to do so far is get the captions to display, but the "turn captionsoff" option doesn't work.

Anyone have any ideas on encoder setting and/or workflow?

Thanks much!

Dan
