Hi Everyone!

I haven't been able to find an answer in the forums, but it could be my poor search skills.

We're looking for a way to feed a single 2 Hour video in to AME and have specific timecodes clipped out and exported.  Essentially, the file is a line cut which needs to be separated in to individual acts of the show, eliminating commercial black.

Since we are creating a Cue Sheet and Cut list, the start and end Timecodes are already being notated. Ideally, these ins/outs could be fed to AME in the correct manner to batch output these subclips with a specific encode preset.

Is AME at all capable of this?  Perhaps through a command-line?

Thanks!

That's not something AME can handle, via command line or APIs.

However, PPro's ExtendScript API could easily accomplish [above]. Have any experience with ExtendScript? Willing to learn? We'd be happy to help you implement that workflow.
