We're relaitvely new to media encoding but have got a presentation to prep. We thought by using AWS and some powerful Nvidia cards we'd be able to speed up encoding, but it is still taking a very long time.
System specs are as follows
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2686 v4 @ 2.3GHz
Ram : 244GB
Display drivers : 2x Nvidia Tesla M60's
After looking at the system requirements I don't think the CPU or the GPUs are supported for hardware encoding. We've got the Renderer using GPU acceleration (CUDA) as the option, but it's very difficult to figure out of the GPUs are actually being used.
Has anyone had any success with AWS encoding?
