HEVC codec

When I try and drag a mov from a client into Encoder it comes up stating that "you need to have a paid account" to use that codex. Of course, I DO have a paid account. I don't see anywhere on Adobe that says "download these codex" or whatever, and the only thing that mentions this on the forums that is "solved" has a user who wrote a warning that the answer is a scam.

Has anyone figured this out yet?

Thanks.

Hi Van,

Thanks for writing in. Are you using HEVC file on a Windows computer? If yes, you may need to install HEVC extension for using this file. I'd recommend taking a look at this article for more info: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/user-guide.html/premiere-pro/using/supported-file-formats.ug.ht...

I hope it helps.

Regards,

Shivangi
