Media Encoder Batch Render freezes entire operating system

Everytime I render out a batch of videos in AME, the entire system freezes and I have to do a hard shutdown. I've let it render over night and the next morning it is still frozen. My sequences have dynamic linked After Effects comps in most which seems to make it freeze. I can render other sequences without dynamic links fine.

Below are the sequence settings. The source footage is 4k green screen keyed out. If I render the same sequence out at 720p at 8Mbps, it usually doesn't freeze. It does it with both OpenCL and Metal. It does not freeze if I render one video at a time through Premiere which is not feasible when I have to render out 20 some videos at once and then work on another project. Just a time waster. Further below are my computer specs. This same exact setup does not happen on the older 2013 iMac Pro that I used to use. Let me know what other information is needed to help with this problem.
