Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. For Hardware Encoding feature to work, an Intel CPU with Intel Quick Sync support is needed.

  • Please check if your Intel CPU meets the requirements for Hardware Encoding (Adobe Premiere Pro System Requirements ).
  • It's recommended to have 16GB of RAM or more for better performance.
  • Also, this is not to be confused with the GPU Accelerated renderer, they both work independently and are not the same thing. Hardware Encoding is only used to for Encoding of the H.264/HEVC codecs while the GPU Accelerated renderer can be used for several purposes.

I hope it helps. Let me know.

Thanks,

Shivangi
