RAM overuse

Hi, since I started rendering lots of videos (>20) I noticed that Adobe Media Encoder uses more RAM than I reserved for Adobe programs, and the RAM usage doesn't go down (even if the queue is paused). Sometimes it crashes because it uses all the available RAM. What should I do?

My build is as follows:

- CPU: AMD FX 6300 3 core 6 threads

- GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX TITAN

- RAM: 12 GB DDR3 (dual channel)

Hi Dstr0,

We're sorry about the poor experience. Please let us know the version of Media Encoder that you are using. Also, how much RAM is reserved for Adobe apps?

Thanks,

Sumeet
