Rendering 40 seconds video, 500% cpu usage

Hello everyone,

I use the Adobe Media Encoder for the first time on my macbook pro. I tried to render a video of 40 seconds (1080p), it takes more then 1 hour and the cpu usage was someting like 500%. And fans was working like it was going to explose. Is this normal? Hope you can help me.

Specs:

Macbook Pro Retina 2015: 16 GB ram, 256 GB SSD, 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7
