Hi Rajath5FE3,

Basically the bitrate. When you toggle back and forth between "Source Medium Bitrate" and "YouTube 1080p," take a look to see what the bitrate is set to. That correlates to the exported video's file size. While the bitrate and file sizes are different, the naked eye probably won't notice much of a difference, if any.

Well, "better" is a tricky term. Generally higher the bitrate = higher quality. But lower bitrate = smaller file size. It's really finding the best compromise between these two. Personally, I tend to push up the bitrate a little higher because most online platforms will do some additional transcoding on their side. A good starting point is checking the platform that you're uploading to and looking to see their recommendations.

For example, here is YouTube's guidelines and Vimeo's guidelines, which are pretty similar:

https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en#zippy=%2Ccontainer-mp%2Caudio-codec-aac-lc%2...

https://vimeo.com/help/compression

Hope this helps clarify up some of this stuff!
