I used to scan documents using my iPhone Adobe Scan mobile app.

Then i would use the "Share" option to share a copy from Adobe Scan to Evernote.

Recently, this option stopped working. I have tried various folders, file names, etc. but the file never arrives in Evernote.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ria,

Thank you for your response. I found that the problem was with Evernote. In order for the file to be shared, you MUST open the MOBILE version of Evernote. The file is never synced with the Evernote Desktop or Web versions until you open the mobile version. I have reported this to Evernote.

I did, however find a second issue with Adobe Scan Mobile app. The app chops off the file name to 20 characters before sharing it. Should i open a new post for this?

Thank you again,

Steve

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

I can't find the version number of the Adobe Scan app, but it does NOT have a blue dot next to it so i assume it is the most recent.

I have included a screen shot showing the issue.adobe-scan-name-truncations.jpg
