'An unexpected error occured. The file doesn't exist'

New Here ,

This is starting to happen more and more frequently. I have scanned in a document and at the very end when I go to save it, it says 'an unexpected error occured. The file doesn't exist.' It is so frustrating as I then have to scan it all over again. There seems to be no pattern to it, it just happens every so often. I can then scan the same document again and it will save. It's really annoying!

Hi @Hannah27044251b6ah,

Hope you're doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

Thank you for taking the time to share the device and application information.

Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the issue for better understanding and investigation?

Thanks,

Souvik.

I have the same issue and send the unexpected error report every...single...time. It does happen quite often. Sometimes it helps if I uninstall the app and reinstall. But I agree with previous poster, this is a very inconvenient and time consuming error.

Hi @Tori27589347y15j,

Hope you are doing well. Our team is aware of the issue and a fix will be implemented soon.

One point that we observed on reproducing this issue was if your storage quota is exhausted. Would you mind checking if you have enough storage to save the files on the online portal: https://acrobat.adobe.com/

We request your kind understanding and patience.

-Souvik.

I've checked and my storage is not full. I've also tried deleting any previous scans saved and it still happens when storage is empty
