Please let us know your workflow when you observe the crash. This would help us investigate further the root cause of the issue.
Also, a few more pieces of information would be great:
1. The app version of Adobe Scan you are using (go to Profile-> About Adobe Scan);
2. The OS [Android/iOS] you are using and its version;
3. A screen recording of the situation for better understanding.
