is there a way get Adobe Scan to by default save to SD card, either the pdfs as via the save as jpeg option. Android (Samsung Galaxy if that matters.)

Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
As per the issue description that you want to save scans directly to an SD card. Currently, we do not have the feature to save scans to the desired location, it will first save it to document cloud storage only. However, you get an option to save the original image files to the gallery.
Here is a help document you can refer to: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/adobescan/android/en/settings.html?#save-original-images-to-galler...
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Harsh

It doesn't help, I don't want to save large files to my image gallery, I don't use document cloud, I want to have them on my phone but Im running out of room on my phone, I bought a SD card to save images on but your app is filling up my internal storage. Its laborious to save them to the gallery and then move them to the SD card.

Hi,
Sorry for the delayed response. In the Scan application, we currently do not have the feature to save scans to an SD card or some other desired location. You can save the original images of the scans only in the device gallery and can save scans to document cloud storage.
We appreciate it if you can request the feature from this link which will be directly sent to the engineering team: https://adobe.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?YQWCX7
Thanks,
