Hello. I recently scanned a 600 page document and upon completion, the app closed automatically. And now, no matter how many times i try to open the app the document is visible and shows as uploading, but the app is not responsive to touch and crashes automatically. I have checked adobe cloud on acrobat, and the documejt isnt reflecting yet

Hope you're doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.
Since the file is 600 pages, it would take some time to upload to the cloud, which depends on your device's network stability and speed.
If this takes way too long, I suggest saving a local copy of the file on your device, so you've the file at hand.
Hope this helps.

Hello Souvik!
i have shared the video for reference. I use an iPhone 13. I am continuously on a 40MBPS wifi. I understand that the file has to be uploaded which is the reason why i am waiting. But the app becomes unresponsive after a minute of opening it, and then it freezes and crashes. The app isnt allowing the file to either upload to cloud, or neither is it allowing me to save a local copy.
pl revert back on what to do
thank you

Thanks for the clarification.
Would you mind checking if the behavior is the same if you try uploading fewer pages, like 50 or around 100?
The other reason I could think of is that the application is also trying to run OCR and process the scans; it can drain the entire processor of the device, thus causing it to become unresponsive.

The app is crashing 6 secs after i open. I am not able to press anything at all. Unlike android there is no force stop option on the iOS. Hence the routine is, i press on the app, hope that i can press atleast the home button to change the setting, or atleast something gets clicked. But no. The app opens frozen and then crashes. I even tried it on airplane mode

@ajit27013969kxue Sorry for the experience.
Would you mind trying the below troubleshooting steps and checking if it works:
Go to Settings-> General-> iPhone Storage-> search for Adobe Scan-> click on Offload.
Once done, try using Adobe Scan then and let us know if it works.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, and offloading still didn't work for me. I have since realised that the file may be upwards of 20gb in size when the free version of the plan only permits storage of up to 2gb. I am willing to purchase a better plan if it means saving these scans but I would not be willing to do that if I still cannot bring the uploading to Adobe cloud to completion. Please advise on
whether purchasing a better plan will save this data.

While purchasing the subscription does entitle you to better storage spacing options, it still does not guarantee how your device will perform when scanning a huge number of pages at a time.
Since scanning and then processing those files simultaneously can drain a lot of RAM from your device, it is recommended that you make parts of a document in Scan and combine them once you are done, creating a new file.
Hope this clarifies your question.
