There are many scans missing from my library- is there a limit to the number of scans as a free user ?  Is there some way to find/recover these scans?

thank you

Hi,

See here:

The link above show certain limitations with the Adobe Document Cloud.

But I've read before in these forums that there is also a limit of 25 pages per scan with Adobe Scan.

The best way to work around this is to combine group of PDFs and then upload those PDFs binders to the Document Cloud.

Each binder counts as one single file.

In other words, you can test with how many  PDF binders you can upload at one time.

Hi @keith27079527yuau,

Hope you are doing well.

Adding to what @ls_rbls said, free users are entitled to perform OCR on 25 pages at a time.

However, as suggested, it would be beneficial to create smaller scans and then combine them together at upload. This helps the device not clogging too much memory at the time of creating the PDFs and you getting a better experience.

For any scans that are missing on your application, I suggest logging in to https://acrobat.adobe.com/ and check if the files are available there on the Scan folder.

Hope this helps.

Hi @keith27079527yuau,

Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

We would like to have some more information to dig into the issue:

  1. Have you checked the different accounts you might have used with Scan (Sign in with Adobe versus social sign-in)?
  2. Which platform do you experience the issue with? Scan Android, Scan iOS, DC web?
  3. Are all the scanned files missing, or only some files?
  4. When did the issue start, any details about any actions taken then?
  5. Scan app build version, device model, and OS version.

Please share the above answers so we can speed up the investigation process.

Look forward to hearing from you.

-Souvik.
