Not getting emails from scanner

Hi, I'm hoping you can help. I am not getting the scanned document from Adobe scanner into my email. I scan and then send to email and it says sent successfully although they are not in my email or in spam. Please help.

Hope you are doing well.

As you have mentioned that you tried to send documents from Adobe Scan to your email, but it did not appear in the email. First, we need to check if the file is shared from the Adobe Scan application for that click on the link and sign in with your Adobe ID: https://documentcloud.adobe.com

 

On  the homepage select ‘Shared’ and see if your shared file is visible. If yes, try to share some other scan from the Adobe Scan to your email and check if that is showing in the mail inbox. If no, then share the file again from Adobe Scan application and check if this time it is visible in your mail inbox.

 

Let us know if you can follow the above steps, and still experiencing the issue.

Hi,

I did exactly as you suggested, Harsh. I logged on and saw that my document had been shared (but not received in my email). I then shared another document. It wasn't received in my email either. (By that I mean that I didn't get the shared document today. I had shared it when I first created it, a month ago, but today, it didn't arrive in my email.) I then re-shared the original document. Still nothing.

If there's no other solution, I'm willing to delete and reinstall the app. BUT, can you tell me first if all of my scanned documents will still be available after deleting and reinstalling the app? Thank you.

As a P.S. to my earlier post, since I was logged on to the website and looking at the Share page, I decided to copy a link to the document and embed it manually in an email to myself. Not only did that work, but all of the attempts that I had made until that point suddenly arrived in my Inbox. And now I can share documents via email in the App too. So all of my attempts were blocked until I shared from the website, and now it appears to be working normally. Good news for now, but am still left wondering why it was blocked in the first place!
