OCR funktioniert nicht: dauerhaft „warten auf ocr“

In some scanned book pages on ios, with no visible difference to why, ocr is not working. After scanning and upload it starts the recognition but fails to finish it. Now there is a crossed out cloud and it says (in german) "warten auf ocr" (as seen in the attached file). After a while this disappears but no recognition has taken place. Since I can detect no difference to documents where it is working, I am stuck

any help would be greatly appreciated

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

 

From the screenshot attached, please provide the additional information:

1. Are you connected to the internet? If yes, are you using any VPN?

2. Do you have storage space left in your Adobe Cloud Storage?

 

Because the screenshot depicts that the application is unable to upload the file to the cloud to carry out a complete OCR.
