New Here ,
Aug 10, 2018 Aug 10, 2018

I downloaded the Adobe Scan app onto my Ipad. I opened the pdf version of a scanned document. How do I use Adobe Scan to convert this scanned document into say rtf text?  'in other words, I do not need to photo a a paper copy of this document but that is what 'Help' assumes I want to do?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Philipa,

Adobe Scan helps you to capture/scan anything from anywhere from your Android and iOS devices.

It helps you to scan anything and convert that into a PDF.

It is not possible to convert the scanned document to RTF using the Adobe Scan.

It can only create the PDF from the scanned documents.

For more information, you can refer this help document Adobe Scan FAQ

Hope the information helps.

Let us know if you have any questions.
