Scan borders not adjustable when I imported photos from gallery.

Hi,

I can control and adjust the documentbborder when taking a picture in Adobe Scan but this flexibility is not available when I import imports instead. Pls advise how to make adjustments available as the auto detection did not capture the full document.

Thank you!

Hi GibTan,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As I understand, you are mentioning that when you select the image from Gallery to Save it as PDF, the image get auto cropped and do not give you option to change the boundaries. Is that correct?

If yes, please share the application version.  Also, let us know the OS on the device.

Once you select the image from the gallery, click on the Crop icon to make the necessary changes.

Check if that helps.

Let us know if you are referring to somethting else

Regards,

Meenakshi

My experience after downloading this application, has been immediately disappointing. Horrendous, actually. I'm attaching a screen grab.

I did not want OCR.

I do not want any uploading to the Adobe cloud.

Merely trying to bundle a group of previously photographed documents has yielded very, very badly-cropped pages. Reading the reply above, I have figured out how to fix the cropping. Nonetheless, this is barely acceptable at all. I don't even know the size of the final pdf product created. It is not given.

Note: in the attached image, ignore the scanning errors. This was photographed by me, and then deliberately damaged to maintain privacy.

The concern for Adobe  is the cropping done by your application, not the quality of the scan itself. Consider the angle and the interruption of text, not the appearance of overlapping letters, etc.
