Stability of app is terrible and crashes

For the past three months or so, the app has been significantly more difficult to use. I scan single page documents for work every day, and have use this app for about two years. Such a steep decline in the ease-of-use, that it's almost impossible to use. It lags terribly force closes and crashes. (I mentioned those separately, because occasionally it prompts me to send a report).

 

If this is an issue due to storage, I'm well beneath the storage limit for free users. Please advise, because I'd really like my go-to app back.

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

 

Would you mind sharing a few details with me to investigate further:

1. The application version of Adobe Scan is installed;

2. The iOS version you use.

3. Is the application crashing at random moments or in any specific situation.

 

In the meantime, you may try to Offload the application and check if it works better.

To do so, go to Settings-> General-> iPhone storage-> Adobe Scan-> click on Offload.

Thanks for the work-around, and so far so good, but seems like a short term fix. 

Version 22.06.21

iOS 15.5

All I use the app for is scanning 1-2 page documents to my work email (via Gmail or Outlook apps). I do this Monday - Friday multiple times a day. So within that short process, the app crashing/force closing happens predictably each time I scan a new document. Also, this failure didn't begin until maybe 6-8 months ago.

Thank you for letting me know that it worked temporarily for you.

Also, are their multiple applications open in the background? This can lead to application crash as well due to numerous heavy applications running.

 

You may try removing other applications from the app switcher and working with Adobe Scan.
