I have always used Adobe for converting images to PDFs for business. Today I noticed it is no longer showing in Files. Normally I enter an email, select to attach a document and would  select a PDF to attach to an email from Adobe. Even going straight into Files Adobe still does not show as a location to select from. Is this an error or a permanent change due to an update?  I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, still no luck.

Adobe version 19.09.21

iPhone version 12.4.1

I have attached 2 screenshots showing Adobe can’t be found in Files.

Hi Tarik,

Thank you for reaching out.

The option is currently disabled from the Files manager on the iOS. It is an issue with the Apple iOS 13 bug.

The team is working on it and will re-enabe the Adobe Scan option in future.

To open the Adobe Scan files, you can use the workaround provided below:

- Install Adobe Acrobat Reader from the App store.

- Sign in to the application with the same credentials that you use for the Adobe Scan.

- In the Acrobat Reader, go to Files > Document Cloud > A

Hello.

I've had Adobe Scan on my iPad Pro 11 for about a month now.  Suddenly, earlier this week, it is not listed as an option inside the iPad Files Manager under Locations.

It used to be it was one of the options of where to find files. Now it's gone.

I contacted Apple and they said that, because this is a 3rd party app, they can't help me.

Does anyone know how to get Adobe Scan to be loaded into the Files Manager list of apps to download an export files through?

Thank you

Hi @Adda26949596ya2e,

Hope you're doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

We tried reproducing the issue, but the attachment option worked fine. Can you check if the applications and Adobe Scan are updated to the latest version?

If yes, you might want to check if complete permissions are allowed for all the applications named so they can access and share files.

Hope this answers your question.

-Souvik.
