New Here ,
Oct 15, 2018 Oct 15, 2018

Twice today I used Adobe Scan and received a virus alert for files-download2.acrocomcontent.com because it was infected with URL:mal.  Anyone else getting this?

Hi Heropp,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Please make sure that the application is updated to the latest version available.

Try once to sign out of the application and reboot the device.

Are you still getting the virus alert while scanning PDFs from Adobe Scan application?

If yes, could you please provide more information about this issue?

While scanning the document, when exactly do you get the virus alert?

It would be helpful if you can share the screenshot of the alert message.

To share the screenshot, use the steps provided below:

- Click on the insert icon provided in the reply window as shown below:

Capture screenshot.PNG

- An Insert Image window will appear.

- Then click on Insert Image and browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.

- Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.

Please let us know the exact version of the application installed on your device.

What is the make and model of the mobile device?

Also, share the OS version installed on the device.

We will be waiting for your response.

Let us know if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thank you for sharing the details.

Please confirm if you receive the virus alert when you download the file from Document Cloud or when you email the scanned PDF from the Adobe Scan application.

It would be helpful to investigate the issue if you can share the exact workflow you do.

Also, let us know the details as asked below:

- Adobe Scan application version

- Make and model of the device

- OS version installed on the device

- Is it possible to share any scanned PDF with us on which you receive the same virus alert?

To share the file, refer to the steps mentioned here How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud

We will be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I use Avast and got this same Threat Secured response after attempting to email the scan pdf from the phone app, except mine said it was infected with URL:Blacklist.
