hello
thank you for your effor to make good scan app.
I think auto-OCR-reenablling feature bother me. So please review this.
I turned off the OCR functions . I don't use it. But after some period , it turns on again again.
I under stand Adobe needs to make more profit. But I think this feature bothers users and let them use other apps.
Please consider not to enable by it self.

Hello,
Hope you are doing well. I am sorry for the experience you had with Adobe Scan.
Looks like the preferences of your application are not syncing correctly with the cloud due to which you are facing this issue.
What you can try is:
1. Log out of Adobe Scan;
2. Restart the device;
3. Log in back to Adobe Scan with the same credentials and then disable Text Recognition and it should remain the same for the application unless enabled manually.
