HI all,

I have a echosign template with 10 fillable fields. Now the base document had a word changed. Is there a way to edit the base document without having to delete the template, import the base document again and add all 10 fields again?

thank you.

Hello Cynthia,

You can follow below workaround for that:

1. Make sure your current template is reusable form field layer.

2. Go to Dashboard->Add template to library and upload new document.

3. In Preview page, click paper icon on top left to apply the previous form field layer and save.

In this way, your new document would have form fields from previous template and saved.

Regards,

-Rijul

Hello Daniel,

Just go to editing mode of template and on top right, click show properties and check "Form Field" and save.

Do you have Acrobat Pro or do you just use Reader? If the template was created from a Acrobat file, it is possible to replace the underlying page of a PDF and keep the form fields in intact.
