Hi,
Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem:
I need to send an agreement to a client and want to include fields in the form that I will need to fill in once the client is happy - and then a completed PDF will be sent to both of us. Adobe Sign works fine when I just put in fields for the client, but if I include fields for myself in there, I get: Error message: Incomplete reply from server.

As you get an error when you add the form fields for yourself in the document, could you please share the exact workflow you do to create form field and send the document?
Please make sure when you send a document via Adobe Sign, add your email address in the recipient field on the Send page. Then only you can add form fields for yourself in the document.
