Field format lost in Adobe Sign

I've seen this question asked and answered a couple times, but the answer doesn't work for me.  My text fields I have formatted to number with comma separators, 2 decimals, and currency symbol are applied in Prepare Form, in Acrobat Form.  I then convert to Acrobat Sign format, and it still retains the formatting.  When I go to Adobe Sign, enter email address, and it brings up the page, all number formatting is lost ($37,200.00 goes to 37200).  Why is this changing the format?

Hi Kahalley,

As you create PDF form in Acrobat and then convert it to Adobe Sign form, it does not retain all the form fields added to the document.

You may try creating form fields using the text tags. Please refer to the steps provided in the following help document.

- Adobe Sign Text Tag Guide

Also, refer to this help document Adobe Sign - Creating Forms within Acrobat on creating an Adobe Sign within Acrobat.

You may also add the form field types to the form in Adobe Sign using on the preview window.

While sending the document, make sure that you check the box for "Preview and Add signature fields" on the Send window.

Take help from the steps provided in the following help document. Field types

Hope that helps.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi

None of these work. When in Prepare for Adobe forms, I have the text field

set to prefill with format as a Number (see below). I've even tried to add

the text tag of :curr by renaming the field

to AmountSUBTOTAL_es_:prefill:curr(country=us). I then make sure to

Convert to Adobe Sign Form and Preview it and it all looks fine with

formatting (see below). But as soon as I click Adobe Sign, enter the

recipient email, and click Continue, all number formatting is lost. When

right clicking the field and going to Edit, it clearly shows it's text

input and Validation shows Currency, but it's not displaying on the page as

currency (see last picture).

Thanks!
