Hello,
We are exploring getting the Adobe Sign Enterprise version that will have the Private Message function. I have a few questions that I hope Adobe can help me with:
1. Is there a word limit to the private messages?
2. We have an cover letter that we route internally for signatures first before sending it out for external signatures. Is there any way for us to route the cover letter along with the agreement internally and then remove the cover letter before sending it out externally?

I don't know the absolute maximum number of characters that a private message can hold, but I regularly test with 2 million characters (including spaces). If that's not enough, let us know and I'm sure we can get the exact number.
In regards to your internal cover letter, you can use Limited Document Visibility to attach the cover letter to the transaction, and then only expose it to your internal people.

If you are in a Trial or Developer account, then you should have the Enterprise level feature set, so Limited document visibility can be found in your global settings. LDV can be a little tricky when you first start using it, so test it well with your existing processes when you first turn it on.
