Adobe XD CC Crashes on Launch

New Here ,
May 15, 2018 May 15, 2018

Hi,

After a recent update of Windows, Adobe XD won't start. I see the XD window for about one second before it crashes. I tried a clean install of CC using the Adobe cleaner software.

Anyone have the same issue?

thanks,

Charles

Hey,

Update:

Just received and installed a windows update - version 1803, build 17134.48.

Now it seems that XD stopped crashing!

Thanks anyways,

Daniel.

Hi Charles,

Are you on the Beta version of Windows, or on an official update? Can you provide us with the version number? We are aware of Adobe XD crashing on a Beta version of Windows.

Thanks,

Preran

Hi,

Just installed Adobe XD on a Win10 64bit (yoga 910), no updates to windows since the installation, but XD crashes after 2 seconds or so after launching.

Thanks ahead.

Daniel

I have the same error, and I contacted the Adobe Support team, and they said it is because we are on the Windows Insider Preview and XD CC is not yet available with our win version. I'll give you all the details so you can pass it on to the engineering team responsible for XD CC, please fix ASAP! I've got Windows 10 Home Version 1709, build 16299.371. I think it's the Fall Creators Update.

Is it supported by the current Adobe XD release?

Looks like you are running the Fall Creators Update, and that is a supported OS. Please send me your Adobe ID, location, and phone number over a private message. To send a private message, click my picture and use the Message button. We will get in touch with you for investigation.

Meanwhile, I request you to ensure that your graphic drivers are up to date by visiting the manufacturer's site and checking for any pending updates.

Thanks,

Preran
