Adobe XD crashes when trying to zoom in on file with large design libraries.

Hi all,

As the title reads I am working on a collaborative document with a large design library. I can open said document and scroll left/right and up/down with no issue, however the instant I attempt to zoom (or perform a few other operations such as saving) the window freezes and a have to force quit the program.

The file worked fine for me up until a few days ago and I don't have any similar issues when I am working on a new file.

I have tried to restart my laptop, uninstall Adobe XD then reinstall, uninstall both Creative Cloud and XD and then reinstall both, as well as update any outdated drivers. Any assistance in trouble shooting this issue would be great!

Thanks

Hi,

Were you able to free up the memory and check if the problem is gone?
On our side we have added performance improvements, that will be available in the upcoming XD releases.

Thank you,
Mariia

I just tried and don't have any problems with Zooming in/out.
Could you please share the details:
- XD version;
- your OS version.

Maybe any other details? Did you share that Library?

Thank you for assiting me with the issue.

The XD version is 31.1.12 and my OS version is Windows 10 with 15.7 GB of RAM available. Is it possibly a processing power issue then or what?

Oh, so the latest XD is 34 - do you think you can update? I don't think that old version is supported.
It can be your RAM short memory as well, yes.
Try to free it up a little. I am on Win10 as well and latest XD 34.1.12.

Could you please try to free up the space?
If that still reproduces, please collect logs via Adobe Collector Logs and provide Logs ID to us:
