I created a video showing this bug and explaining it. Let me know if there is a way to prevent this, or fix it. I have MANY layers I need to get ordered properly, or the developers will hate me
Hi Alext, Thanks for sharing the video and sorry that you encountered this issue while arranging the layers. Could you please share the OS version and the version of Adobe XD which you are using?
I would request you to hit the Esc key, it should remove error sign on the screen. Please update this discussion with the results.

Hitting escape does clear the error and allows me to re-attempt to move layers. Thank you.
(Although that does fix the issue at hand, it's probably still a good idea to look into why it's doing that in the first place 😃 )
