Since updating my Adobe XD version 2.0 today, my XD is consistently crashing when I double click on text.

This is preventing me from working.

Please fix this bug asap.

Hi Jason,

Sorry to hear that you are hitting this issue.  Could you please provide the specific version number for Win10?  It is available via the about dialog. It is available via

Start Menu > cog icon / Settings > System > About

You may then need to scroll down to see "Edition", "Version", and "OS Build"

Could you please include the device specifications as well?  They should be in the same About dialog.

Thanks

-Larry

Hi Olawale,

Sorry you are experiencing a login issue. Could you please try signing in and out of the creative cloud application?  If that doesn't remedy the issue, could you please try rebooting your system?

Thanks!,

-Larry

Same problem as JC-Design here, same specs!

Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't solve the problem.

It appears anything related to the type tool is causing it to crash. Whether I try to edit existing text or create new text.

Hey Brian,

Sorry you are hitting this as well. Your Win10 version probably has an update available.  Could you please check for Windows updates to see if that resolves it?  Just type "Check for Updates" in the search field, and it should bring up the Windows Update dialog.

Thanks,

-Larry

Took me almost all afternoon to update and the problem still persists.

Hopefully an update is issued this week cause I'm losing precious days of work

I know on MAC the issue isn't present.

It seems like you're on a Windows Insider build (which is great information, btw). It's very likely this is an incompatibility between your OS and the GPU drivers, but the GPU drivers are normally updated against stable builds. Is there any way for you to try this on a Windows10 stable build instead of an Insider build?

Can you try updating your graphics card drivers? You should go to your graphics card manufacturer's website and apply the latest drivers, and not rely on Windows to provide the correct drivers for you.

Thanks,

-Elaine

Hi, unfortunately that goes beyond my knowledge. I already sent a dump file to Debbie Suzuki which I hope will shed some light on the real issue. Will there be an update released for this as I am not the only one experiencing this bug. The software was working great as of yesterday.

Hi Elaine,

I am having the same issue with using type in anyway.

Cant edit text or add text without a complete crash

- Windows 10 - 64 Bit - Build 16299

- Reinstalled XD

- Windows Updated Fully

- Graphics Drivers Updated from Manufacture Website

A quick fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
