AdobeXD using internal HD not Cloud storage when sharing assets for development

Hi,

I am having trouble with my XD files when I am sharing my design for development. My files are saved on the Creative Cloud, but when I am trying to get a link to share with the developers my internal HD goes from 16gb to 9mb and I get an error that doesn't allow me to share. Have no idea how to remedy and get my assets over to web developer without it taking up space on my internal hard drive. Can anyone help me out?

Steps already taken or more info about the file:

- Created a new artboard exports fine but I notice that it always take up space on my internal HD

- Uninstalled XD and reinstalled the XD app on an external HD, still uses my internal HD

- My file has about 1200 assets, is the file too large?

- All artboards are under 8000px x 8000px

- The site is 16 pages

Thanks!

Hi there! I checked with our development team, and it's something we're working to resolve. Unfortunately, it's a really deep problem, so it's going to take some time on our side to fix. The underlying problem is the number of assets you're trying to export, so you might want to try exporting some manually and packaging it on the side, and removing the batch export setting for some of the assets.

Hopefully that helps you to work around the issue, and we're definitely working on a fix for this!

I am guessing that the size of your assets is slowing down the sharing of your files. Have you seen this slowness with all your projects irrespective of their size?

Thanks,

Preran
