When I either copy and paste from one document to another in Prototype mode, or save an existing file under a new name, audio files that I had uploaded disappear and have to be re-uploaded to the document. I'm using Windows.
Hi there,
Thankyou for reporting.
Whereas copy+paste audio prototype functionality is purposely designed. You can't copy-paste the audio prototype to other document. But you can make a component with audio prototype and publish that document, so you can use that assets anywhere from library.
I hope it will be helpful . Please let us know for any confusion.
While saving existing files with audios in it , works fine from our end.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I will try publishing the audio component to my CC library and using it from there. I would prefer to copy and paste everything as I'm working on a large group document where we are each working on separate parts and then combining them., but I can try using the library method.
Saving as a file with a new name is working for me now, the audio is still there! Perhaps I made a mistake the last time.
Thanks
