Hi,

Whenever, I start using background blur/inner shadows like to design glassmorphism sort of UI - XD seems to become slow.

It is responsive - but not as snappy as usual - repeately shows loader of Mac.

Hi there,

We're so sorry to hear about the trouble. Please share a few more details like:

  1. The version of XD.
  2. Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?
  3. Please collect system logs by following the steps shared here https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
  4. Please collect and share spin dump file by following the steps shared here:
  • Launch Activity Monitor
  • Select Adobe XD process (might show as “Not Responding”)
  • Click on the gear in the upper left of the Activity Monitor
  • Select “Spindump”
  • This will generate a text file

Please add both the file to a shared location like Google Drive or DropBox and share the file through DM by clicking on my name.

Regards

Rishabh

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt response.

PFB the required details:

1. Version: Latest 42.1.22 - but I guess it used to happen in the build before this one as well.

2. Multiple files where I go for background blur - otherwise I have huge files w/o background blur and they seem to work fine

Regards,
Smit

Sorry for the delay in response. Please update XD to the latest version which is 43.0 and let us know if that helps or if you need any further assistance.

Hi @Rishabh_Tiwari

The update to 43 helped resolve the issue upto some extent. It's slowing down lesser as compared to previous builds - but some of it still their - as compared to a very smooth experience in files where there is no background blur used.
