Hi!
I just came across some serious bug with repeat grid and exporting. It makes repeat grid unusable in some cases. So if i make a component and use repeat grid on the component, then mark for export every element in all components, it will only let the first one to export.
This is super frustrating, because if i want to make let's say 25 similar components, with the same hover animation, but on different pictures, then i can't export the other 24 pictures inside the component, only from the first one.
It can get fixed by ungrouping the components and then export the individual elements from the group, but c'mon let me not mess up my animation just to get it exportable.

I can understand the reasoning behind why this works. Since XD is not a development platform, but a deisgn tool, Adobe made the descision to only export the single instance of the repeated component. Since the component is a reusable item, that was why that choice was made. Doesn't help in your case. Also since XD really doesn't export animations, that is something that will be handled by the developers. You are going to just hand-off those images via another asset only aboard or via some other method.

I can understand that, but then why does it show that the other elements are being exported aswell? I mean it's at least misleading in my opinion.
Yes, I just ungrouped the components and marked for export individually, but i think this could be feature to be able to export elements from components made with repeat grid.
