I'm trying to start a new project, and I have been able to draw and modify a shape, but as soon as I choose the type tool and attempt to add text to my canvas, it freezes and I can no longer perform any action to the canvas. It is defaulting to Seoge UI font, and no other fonts are showing up in the font list. From here I have to close the app with the task manager. I have attempted restarting my computer, uninstalling XD, removing temporary and common files, and reinstalling with no change in behavior. It appears I can open files I already created and edit the type, and see the list of fonts.
I'm also still having issues with loading my fonts. I have to do my workaround which involves opening Font Base, going to Adobe Fonts and activating a font before opening XD. If I don't activate a font on Adobe Fonts first it doesn't load any of my fonts. There was a bugfix released for this and it seemed to work at first but I've noticed that the fix didn't last and now I still have the missing font issues.

I am able to fully edit an existing file, so for the time being I am opening a previously created file, deleting all of the screens and saving the file as.

I may have spoken too soon. After creating one shape and one text box, I can now no longer make any type.

Another update. If I disable Font Base, it seems to be working. So basically, XD is NOT compatible with FontBase. Really frustrating.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. When I quit Fontbase, everything seems to work.
