Cannnot import Lottie files created in Animate

Hi all,

I've tried creating a simple animation in Adobe Animate, and have exported it as a Lottie JSON file.

That all works fine, until I try to import the animation into XD. I get the following error:

JSON format is incompatible

XD only supports the Lottie JSON format.

Has anyone been able to make this work?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. There is a limitation in size of a lottie file, you can import only Lottie files less than 15 MB into XD and you can't import a JSON file that is not a Lottie JSON. For more information, please refer to this article.

Having said that, I am leaving this discussion open for expert suggestions.

Thank you for reaching out. You can't import a JSON file that is not a Lottie JSON in XD. Could you please share your workflow so that we can investigate the issue at our end? Please also share the version of XD and the operating system you're working on.
