Character style Edit button missing

Hi, I want to edit the Character style and update it globally. The 'EDIT' button is missing. please help

Hi There, 

Please try the below steps:-

1. Apply the character style.

2. Go to document asset panel 

3.  Make it local, you will get an edit option.

Edit option will come only either on source document or make the character style local. Hope it will help, please write us back for further assistance.
