Color Opacity Broken in Desktop Preview

New Here ,
Feb 20, 2019 Feb 20, 2019

Hi,

There is a serious bug with the current version of Adobe XD CC that has not been fixed yet. The issue is with the color opacity option slider. The color, when put at a certain opacity, appears correctly on the design screen and prototype screen. But, it does not appear correctly at that specific #% opacity in the Desktop Preview functionality. What happens is that the color that appears is the base 100% opacity color or a random base color instead of the selected #% opacity of the original color. I contacted a friend at Adobe and he said there was no clear solution. This needs to be fixed.

Does anyone else have this issue? If so, were you able to fix it and how?

Also, I attached screenshots below. You'll see how the opacity is set to 18%, yet comes out at 100% (color black) in the Desktop Preview. Nothing has changed between the two pictures but me clicking the Desktop Preview button.

Thanks,

Nathan John
