Component won't resize properly

Hi There - I've brought in an vector asset from Illustrator, and converted it to a component (so I can share it across designers). It resizes fine when I bring it in initially, as soon as I convert it to a component, the resizing doesn't work. I've tried resizing manually and it just breaks apart.

The vector is a grouped bunch of shapes to create an illustration.

I've tried both opening the Illustrator file in XD and then copying into my XD file and creating the component AND copy and pasting it into my XD file directly then creating a component.

It also didn't honour the stroke weight to some paths when I brought it into XD.

Any thoughts as to how to make this resize once it's a component?

Never mind - I worked it out - I switched off 'responsive resizing' and it now behaves as it shoulw
